How to install the extension?
Open this page in a suitable browser on your computer, then choose the corresponding extension to install.
Google Chrome
Network note: In mainland China, the Chrome Web Store may be inaccessible without a VPN or proxy. If you cannot access it, try installing with Edge through the Edge Add-ons store instead.

Open the Chrome Web Store
In Chrome, select “Add to Chrome” below to open the Sentence Listening Console store page.

Add the extension
Select “Add to Chrome”, review the requested permissions, then select “Add extension” and wait for installation to finish.

Check the installation
Find Sentence Listening Console in the Extensions menu at the top right. Use the pin icon to keep it in your toolbar. Refresh any video pages that were open before installation.

This release improves the everyday flow of looking up words, listening, organizing vocabulary and downloading captions.
- 01Select text on a webpage to open translation, listening analysis and favorites through the selection icon or context menu. Drag popups on webpages and in the video panel.
- 02Explore word meanings, common phrases and word forms. English words translated into Chinese use dictionary definitions first; other language pairs use multilingual translation.
- 03Added cloud speech for 13 learning languages and playback records, with improved language detection, regional voice matching and long-text playback.
- 04Improved sign-up, sign-in, folder cards and global search. Add vocabulary manually, choose a folder and review by mastery level.
- 05Download available subtitle languages in one timestamped TXT file and view download records. Fixed YouTube export fetching and strengthened Bilibili source and duration checks.

- PlayOpen a supported video and begin playback.
- MarkMark sentence boundaries manually, or use the yellow button for available captions. Existing marks are not overwritten.
- RepeatClick a sentence or choose a loop mode to practice.
Data syncs to the cloud automatically
Review anywhere, on any device
Signed-out marks stay local. Signing in syncs marks, progress and listening statistics; YouTube supports mobile continuation. Translation and AI analysis send selected text to providers and retain personal request records. Favorites are stored independently in your account. Read how data is used and deleted.
